RCD Mallorca claimed a crucial 4-1 victory over Sevilla FC and moved out of the relegation zone. Vedat Muriqi opened the scoring from the penalty spot, Samú Costa restored Mallorca’s lead after the visitors’ equaliser, Sergi Darder extended the advantage and Pablo Torre sealed the win late on. Sevilla had levelled the match before the break through Maupay, but Mallorca were far more effective after half-time, with Jan Virgili and Vedat Muriqi leading the attacking play. The result allows the Balearic side to breathe easier in the table and move ahead of Sevilla, who struggled to respond in the second half.
